The Radley Gracefield Bag

I got this cute handbag as one of my Eid presents and I thought I should blog about it. It's my first Radley handbag (and product) and its name accompanies it very well - 'Gracefield' - it does look very feminine and chic!

I am impressed with the quality of the bag. The stitching is perfect (I am very fussy when it comes to that, that is at least when I am spending for something expensive. It's only reasonable to expect the stitching to be perfect in that case!), the leather is beautiful. You might find that some Radley bags have a more finer/thinner leather. I usually don't like this because I can be very clumsy and I want to know that my bag will survive scratches and discolouration, so when I felt the tough leather on this bag, I was well pleased.

What I like about this bag are the following ....
- it looks chic chic chic, which means I can wear it to any occasion. You can carry it on your shoulder or detach the strap to carry it as a handbag rather than a shoulder bag. This type of feature in a bag usually attracts me because I can convert it from a casual bag to a more formal one. With large bags this might not work so well...
- I like its deep brown colour. They called it 'Chimney Brown'. Other available colours are Black and Prussian Blue. I wanted the brown one the most because it's perfect for autumn and you can see all its details very well.
- It's surprisingly spacious ! I have to say, I was surprised which how much I was able to fit in. I do prefer larger bags although nowadays I opt for medium sized bags because they're more practical for me. And if all my things fit in the bag, then hey, why not? =P
- The dog tag attached to it is cute and adds that extra cuteness to the bag.

I was told this was the last bag on the shelf in this colour. I'm not surprised.

{This is the same bag I brought with me to the theatre to watch Richard III, starring Kevin Spacey and Maureen Anderman. The performances were thrilling! =D The only thing that was lacking was my understanding of the Shakespearean dialogue. I have never read Richard III before the show, so it was a challenge analysing every line for almost 3 hours, but of course, it was so much fun too!}

My Louis Vuitton Bag - The Montorgueil GM

Louis Vuitton's Montorgueil GM is my first (and currently only) designer handbag. It was given to me as a gift and I treasure it very much, so much so that I always put it in its original case and in the shopping bag it was purchased in. I take care where I take it to and where I place it.

I always wanted a Louis Vuitton bag. I knew that my first designer handbag had to be an LV, even if it was my one and only.
I'll forever admire its traditional style and the fact that it would suit any occasion, just as it had done for decades in the past.

Some might think it has lost its appeal as so many people now seem to own an LV; a lot of which are replicas. However, I can see through this and see the old fashioned traditional style that captivated a lot of women before and will continue to appeal to generations of women.

To me, it's like Chanel No.5.

Not to mention, this has been to its homeland, Paris, with me =D
Without a doubt, I'll be using this for many many years to come =)

Crest Whitening Strips & Other Randomness

So today, I got my Lush newspaper in the post and I'm so excited about the products they've released for this season!
I'll be blogging about their products if I have the time to visit the shop (which, of course, I will have!)...

Crest Whitening Strips

I got these a long while ago after reading (on average) great reviews about it; wondering what the fuss was all about.
I'll go straight to the point: this didn't work so much for me. I noticed a slight difference and this was after a week of using the strips, twice a day. 2 weeks into it and I didn't notice much of a difference. So I don't know why most reviews on these strips are good! But 'they don't impress me much' (for those who know Shania Twain, remember her song? Bad joke attempt...)

And finally, the actual stuff!


As you can see, there are 2 layers. One is longer than the other. The longer strip is meant for your bottom set of teeth; the latter is meant for your upper set of teeth.
It's advised that you leave this in for 30 minutes, 2 times a day.

The bad side is if you have sensitive teeth, you will more than likely, suffer some tooth ache (feels like a dull ache) after using this for a few days. I experienced it.
What I don't like about this also, is, this contains hydrogen peroxide.

Hydrogen Peroxide + Toothache = somehow doesn't seem like a good result to me!

Sure, it might whiten your teeth visibly (it didn't do this for me), but as much as Crest (and other online sites) insists this is safe to use... I have my own opinion!

Since then, I've stuck to Blanx Whitening Toothpaste.

Balenciaga Multicolour Leather Small Motorcycle Handbag

Whilst window shopping briefly, I spotted this bag on sale at BrandAlley (it was unsurprisingly sold out as it was on promotion) & it sure did captivate me (hence this post). I don't usually like abstract colours or odd combinations. However, this bag had an edge that I like... and I found myself liking this odd set of colours on the bag. See it for yourself. I just had to post it here.

Forever Sunshine Body Lotion by the Bath & Body Works

This is my favourite lotion at the moment! I'm amazed at its scent... so fresh, feminine, sweet...reminds me of milk, honey, toffee...
The scent lingers on (strongly enough) for the whole day (yes... the entire day!) & you only need a small amount.
I'm very impressed with this lotion. I didn't have an expectation for it so it did catch me offguard.
Unfortunately, this is only available in the US =( so if you're lucky, you might spot one online somewhere!
I had a look on their main site and they had an offer for 'Buy 3 Get 3 Free' - only problem is...they don't ship to Europe. So this is a let down!


Also this is the first product I have used from the Bath & Body Works. Moisturising & calm sweet scenting...
